how to remove threaded colling fan from water pump shaft

Long punch and a hammer.... it turns ccw to remove!.... Leave the belt on!!!! ....Use hammer and punch to get it started by placing punch tip on left side of the big nut...now knock the hell out of it to turn fan nut to your left!! ...Then turn fan to remove it..... I use an air hammer and long punch attechment at the shop, but i have all that s..t.... you might...dont know.... that method works every time! ... Install it the same way... just reversed! This works 'much' better than the so called fan clutch removal tool.....l know!!!
