1996 c1500 wont start. Dyed while driving. Tried priming engine still won't star

Got to question you on the spark here - this ignition system is capable of easily producing 40,000 volts - that is enough to jump a 1 inch air gap to a metal ground. Now IF you’re not getting that kind of spark from the plug wires - it ain’t going to run!
