Truck skips and stalls after water pump & thermostat replaced.

What is your question?

runs fine for 1-2 miles then stalls out when I stop at light. I also noticed the upper rad hose is Extremly Hot compared to the lower hose. Does that tell me anything?

ALL grounds hooked back up at t-stat housing ? .. Water/coolant spray or spill out onto distributor ? .. Coolant level correct ? .. Engine temperature guage read normal ? .. Check engine light on ?
