My truck needs a new motor. There's a 350 I want to take out of a 1990 g20 and put it in my 1995 Chevy k1500. It has fuel injection and my truck has a carb. Will the wiring harnesses line up and I can just swap them? Or will I have to put a carb on the van motor and get a new distributer? Also the ECM in the van doesn't line up with the wiring harness in the truck. That's why I would need to swap the wiring harnesses.
The labor isn't an issue. I just need to know if the wiring harnesses are interchangeable. Otherwise I'll have to buy a carb and a new distributer.
Thanks. I just don't have any other options. This is my only option regarding motors cause that little 4.3 hardly made any power and it doesn't even run anymore. Plus that truck was my daily so :/
