Where is the temp coolant sensor located

It is on the intake manifold not far from the thermostat. It has 2 wires, usually yellow and black. The sensor is usually brass colored and it screws into a water passage. Good Luck

it could also be one the side of one of the heads

that would be the engine temp gauge in the truck on the side of the head.. It on the intake. If you take it off make sure you put it back right if not the truck will flood out causing it to not run til you un flood it. that sensor will pump more gas if it is cold. the engine always pumps more gas if it is cold
