Sometimes when i start my car it wont shift out of park and i have to let it set for at least a hour and then only with force will it shift into Drive or reverse

what kind of transmission fluid did you put in it?and what does it say on the dip stick?
She said she used the kind for high mileage for both the oil and transmission. She said she didn't. Know about a dip stick she was told it was probably low on transmission fluid and to put some in. She just typed and the letters were mispunched with lettes near on the keypad whether sideways or up and down.
OWNER!make sure you used the correct transmission fluid,and did not over fill it!check it with engine at operating temp,on level ground,with engine running.make sure you hold your foot on the brake pedal when trying to shift out of park.have the brake light switch checked or replaced,it will keep you from coming out of park if it's bad,it's $14.00 at Autozone!!
I used one for high mileage cars i didnt know it was on the dip stick i was just told it was probably los and to but some Fran fluid and put in it. as for the oil i also put high mileage .
