1999 Chevrolet C1500 Suburban No start! I have good fuel pressure 60lbs, checked cyl 1 and spark was good. I've had problems before with no start in wet weather, the problem was the dist. cap so I replaced the dist. cap & rotor. With new cap & rotor, still no start.

Fuel pressure spikes to 65 with key turn and 60lbs for a good 10 min. Only pulled #1 spark plug, it was wet and sparked white with turning the key.
Also, tried starter fluid, first right into throttle body, next into the valve cover inlet, nothing.
The truck has 180k with original wires and at least 100k on the plugs (not OEM but I didn't replace them, bosch platinum spark plugs). Will be putting in new plugs and wires in the next day or so, and hope it will fix the problem. Also, it has a strong battery, its on a charger.
Suspect flooded cylinders... New *ACDelco* plugs & wires probably take care of it... May need to clear flood by holding accelerator pedal to floor while cranking... You most likely cured the original problem with cap & rotor... Now it's flooded... (Have better luck with AC parts!) They're available @ most parts stores now but still best for GM.
Got it started, with with high idle-then stall after waiting overnight. I knocked of the brake booster line when I did the cap & rotor. Still going do the wires and plugs (already ordered them). Thanks for your reply
