What is your question?
I've pulled,, pushed and pried the obvious connection between the two pieces. Nothing works. What do I do to get it apart?

try this.............................................................................................................................................. Unhook the sun visor from the latch above the windshield. Grab the sun visor from the top and pull down to unlatch it from the hook. Examine the sun visor mount where the arm connects to the vehicle. Some sun visors have a plastic cover that you pop off with a small flat-head screwdriver to reveal the two screws securing the mount to the vehicle. Once you pop the cover, remove the two to three screws securing the sun visor mount to the vehicle with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Insert a small flat-head screwdriver into the small notch if your mount has a metal washer instead of screws. Press inward with the screwdriver while rotating the entire sun visor toward the side window. You will feel the mount unlock from the vehicle. Pull the sun visor down enough that you can access the wire connector. Press the plastic tabs on the side of the connector with one hand and pull the wire connector apart. This disconnects the lighted sun visor completely from the vehicle.
Thank you so much for this information. All went well until I got to the "press the plastic tabs on the side of the connector..." I can't find any plastic tabs to press. I did press sides and back hoping they were there. Nothing. There's a tiny slot that I tried to get a screwdriver in to press that. Nothing. My connector is rectangular, with a longer bottom piece that seems to slide up over one side of the top piece. I tried to pry them apart. Nothing. I am going to try squeezing the connector joint with small vise grips. Wondering if you have any other suggestions.
