What is your question?
My Chevy blazer said that I needed an oil change and that my oil life was 0% but when I went to get an oil changed they said I didn’t need one. My engine light has since turned on and I’m not sure why despite no troubles driving
How long has your 2021 Chevrolet Blazer had this problem?

Hello, someone told you that you do not need an oil change? When was your last oil and filter change? A good rule of thumb is to change your engine oil and filter every 5,000 miles or so. Even if the oil life could be extended, there is limited value with trying to do so -- it's more cost effective to just change it to ensure you have clean and quality oil and filtration for your engine. Who told you that you do not need the oil changed and why? The engine light has nothing to do with the lack of oil change, but will need testing performed to determine what is wrong. You may want to see a dealership for this in the event something failed is covered by a warranty. If not, seek guidance from another shop near you: https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me
