I had a working 2001 Chevy Blazer, scan code came up Camshaft position sensor. Had this changed as well as distributor and Now the car will not start. Put the old pieces back on

My car was being used to pick up the parts needed. Right after the Camshaft sensor and distributor cap and rotor were replaced the car would no longer start. We put the old pieces back on and again the care would not start. Checked the plugs and there was gas in the plugs. Thought I got a faulty distributor cap so I went a got an ACDelco cap and the rotor but still will not start.
