This is really not an easy question to answer, as any pricing would be specific to market area and even better yet - an evaluation of the current condition of this engine you speak of. In this economic environment, the labor of a skilled technician costs a great deal more than most parts do. As a result, it's easy to exceed the value of rebuilding the engine, versus obtaining an already rebuilt engine or a high quality used engine. And - we haven't even talked about parts pricing and availability yet!
