What is your question?

what would cause the needle on the gas gauge to constantly move from full to a 1/4 to 1/2 back to full to 1/4 ect. ect. while driveing

sounds like your float on your fuel pump, changing the float on the fuel pump would be my first check and then if that doesn't help take it in to have then check other issues that are not so eay to do
