What is your question?
After I picked Blazer up from being repaired for two new rear tires and the steering column gear box, now when I turn the wheel it moans, squeaks so I took it back and he gave me another estimate for another 800+ to now replace the left control arm and other items with the suspension but I just had the upper control arm replaced in 2019 so it shouldn't be needing to be repaired. I am 67 on Soc Sec. and I barely had the $1000 for repairs yesterday! I still have all my repair bills, should I take those to him and show him the control arm was already done? I think he's lying!
What makes this problem better or worse?
It's just squawking and squeaking when I turn the steering wheel! Plus the front suspension is squeaking badwhen I brake.
How long has your 1998 Chevrolet Blazer had this problem?
Just today for the steering column squawking; 2 years for the front suspension squeaking

Hello, it is hard to determine what may be going on with your vehicle being that nobody here can inspect it personally over the Internet. However, you have many choices of places near you where you can take your vehicle for an independent assessment of the concern. My suggestion would be to get a second opinion by some other professional, perhaps one of our recommended repair facilities. If for some reason another shop disagrees, then you'd have more of a chance of disputing what's happened with your vehicle to date. If another shop agrees, then you'll know that you're on the right path, and after 23 years - your vehicle needs some TLC. Good luck!
