There's no rule of thumb out there; well maintained is well maintained! You've done a good job, and now as long as you continue your maintenance...it may be good for a good while yet. On the other hand, as vehicles age and have lots of mileage racking up -- your chances of having an issue increase, just from wear out (such as with an automatic transmission). If it were me -- I wouldn't count heavily on a long term future commitment, but I wouldn't have the paranoia of something going wrong, knowing what kind of effort I had put in maintaining the vehicle.
