Rough idle, hesitation on upshift

What is your question?

My first impulse with the rough idle was the EGR valve, since that has been a problem in the past. Had that replaced. Now it has an intermittent rough idle and some hesitation when upshifting (automatic transmission) and it has only been a couple weeks since I had the EGR valve replaced.

It's best to have this diagnosed, there are many possibilities and without a diagnosis you're just guessing at what it might be. This is a good way to spend money without fixing the car, as you've just experienced by replacing the EGR valve.
