What is your question?
Is part of the old wheel bearing stuck on the axle? Is that why my new wheel bearing don’t slide all the way to the back? I ordered two different brand new bearings I sent the first one back because it didn’t slide all the way back. Now my second brand new bearing hub doesn’t slide all the way back either. Is it possible when I took off the old bearings some of it stayed on the axle? Because I know I ordered the right part for my vehicle I’m not sure how to take off the axle do the new hub bearing to fit

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! First off, kudos to you for getting to know your Aveo! Secondly, let's see if we can't get that bearing on. It's likely that part of the old wheel bearing is still stuck on the axle, preventing the new one from fitting. Inspect the axle shaft and the hub you removed for remnants to see if any races came off. Looking at the old hub might help identify what's remaining on the spindle. Ensure the shaft is clean before trying to install the new bearing. If unsure, seek a mechanic's help to avoid damaging the axle and ensure proper installation of the new wheel bearing on your Chevrolet Aveo.
