What is your question?
Last may, a local dealer replaced the spark plug. He charged $400. On your web, the estimated cost is under $100. He did not do a good job, the car continued to have engine light problem and we just replaced the car. My question is, how can I find a mechanic who would accept your estimate?

You can locate a shop here and call and get a estimate over the phone http://repairpal.com/chevrolet-repair-in-new-city-new-york
Well, that is only a start. The spark plug replacement is part of the tune-up for the car, and you that is what you need for that. And a tune-up can cost you between $200-400 depending on where you go to get it done. Don't take it to a gas station though...they are very expensive. You can take it to your dealer. Also you can call around to ask how much a tune-up could be.
