99 Astro worked fine..sat for 3 years..complete tuneup.'tried to crank but motors seems to be 'stuck'....advised to remove plugs ,spray pistons with oil to loosen rust.if that fails."shop"!(any advise?)thx

Engine's don't "rust" internally due to sitting. If the vehicle has sat for 3 years, there could be so many possible causes to it not cranking over. Sure, ensure the engine turns with a breaker bar, but also check the starting system. Battery? Cables? Starter motor? Fuses? Ignition? www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
