shifting soleniods are they hard to change?

What is your question?

tranny started to slip. i changed the filter and fluid.in drive still slips slams into gear when you pull it down into 1 gear. everything i've read points to shifting solenoids a& b. how hard and where are they located?

dont waste your time. you have other issues not related to the solenoids. they are in the valve body when you drop the pan but I would have a trans shop check this for you. be ready for the news of an overhaul. Roy
