spider injector

Its the fuel injector on a GM 4.3l it looks similar to a 6 legged spider (yes i know spiders have 8 legs) can also be called, multi port fuel injector

a spider is a unit that contains the fuel lines and injectors as one assemblt. if you look at it, it looks like a spider. you replace thewhole assembly when one injector fails or the regulator fails. it is a common failure in the 4.3 engines. Roy

You have to remove the upper plenium to view the"spider assembly". Roy is correct it is a common failure on this fuel system.
