What is your question?
I have a 2006 XLR in pristine condition due to it being garaged and a Florida car which just turned 50K miles . I have recently noticed the navigation screen/audio screen has dimmed just a bit and is simply a bit darker then the norm. The screen is still totally functional and all systems work fully. My question is how is this best repaired-- if at all and my concerns are the unit likely going dark. I have been told there is florescent tube inside the LCD assembly that provides power to the florescent backlight that could be the problem with the bulb being in need of replacement or the entire LCD board. The 2nd option or possibility was the whereby the AC inverter could be problem and in need of replacement. Seeking thoughts or suggestions as to the this instant problem and if needed where does one buy a reconditioned system . Thank You So Much Paul

Hello, seek out the guidance of a local original equipment audio unit repair facility near you. Reach out to your local GM dealership and find out who they work with for factory radio repairs. Deal with the supplied vendor directly -- they are the experts. Each major metropolitan area has a facility that can do this.
