Remote start won't start the car. Why?

What is your question?

When I go to use my remote start no matter the time or day or how cold or how hot it will not start the car but I get in the vehicle and the car starts right away. Why is the remote start not starting the car? The rest of the key fob works just fine. This is a manufacturers OEM remote start. When you go to start it remotely the lights do still flash like it would if it was normally going to start but you hear a clicking noise in the engine instead of the actual engine starting.

What makes this problem better or worse?
