What is your question?
in june 2014 on a trip 250 miles from home my car started to lose power and cutting out onstar ran diagnostics and said cylinder 1 and 2 misfire. we went to a dr appointment and then had to drive back home we had no other options. The car seemed fine on the way home. My check engine light has been coming on and off no one can seem to find a problem when they look with a scanner. now my check engine light is on onstar shows emission system problem. my car has been gradually acting as if cutting out like maybe the transmission is slipping kind of feeling. my car is doing it a lot more and i have no idea what might be causing it to cut out or slip so much. could this be related to emission problem??

First, you need to determine the cyl. 1 and 2 misfire issue. Need to check plugs, wires, coils. Second, this could be an exhaust system issue. Usual culprits are failing cat. converter or EGR issues. The one that fools the scanners the most is a cat. converter issue. Good luck. If spark plugs have not been replaced yet, now is a good time.
When my 2007 STS started missing I put dry gas in my car and filled it up with Premium gas. I was getting the same codes as you. This fixed it and it runs great again. Hope this Helps!!!!!!!!
