I can take off in drive but once I decelerate the transmission begains to slip

I can take off in first but once I apply the break my transmission slipps i turn off car it sits for 10 min then i can take off again but again once I apply the break the transmission slipps again. What's wrong ? Plz help me I can cycle thru all my gear and get no play
