Here is a Technical Service Bulletin that describes your concern. You will need a factory level scan tool to verify that this is the problem and to program the new module. Call us @972-420-6187 if you would like to schedule an appointment to fix this problem. #PI0877B: Heated Seat Indicator Lights Momentarily When Activated / Heated Seats Inoperative / DTC U1524 Stored - (Jan 21, 2014) Subject: Heated Seat Indicator Lights Momentarily When Activated / Heated Seats Inoperative / DTC U1524 Stored Models: 2013 Cadillac SRX Built Prior to April 04, 2013 or VIN Breakpoint DS614504 This PI has been revised to add a VIN breakpoint and vehicle build date to identify the population of vehicles that may be affected. Please discard PI0877A. Condition/Concern Some customers may comment that the heated seat(s) are inoperative. Pressing the heated seat function button on the center stack may make the heated seat indicator illuminate briefly then turn off. Additionally DTC U1524 may be stored. Recommendation/Instructions To resolve the condition, it will be required to replace the heated seat control module.
