What is your question?
This has happened on several occasions. I live on a hill. Going down the hill. Also once in a snow storm on level ground. The pedal goes to the floor before stopping. After the car is parked, the brakes return. There is no way to tell when it will happen. Cadillac has put me off. the car is sitting in my driveway because it is too scary to drive, The car is a Cadillac SRX 2011. I am seeking a solution to the problem.

The only reasons I can think of for a brake pedal to go to the floor are: 1) External hydraulic brake fluid leak 2) Failed master cylinder bypassing. You did not mention that the master cylinder had been replaced. If you are certain that the pedal is legitimately going to the floor, then this is a realistic part to replace based off of an unverifiable guess. There is no "test" to be performed when the problem occurs with this -- it's basically a technician experiencing it and saying -- yes -- it's a master cylinder concern.
I agree this is indicative of a failing master cylinder - unfortunately intermittent failures are almost impossible to diagnose unless the failure is present at the time of testing. The only thing I can think of is leaving the vehicle at repair facility so it can be driven as often as needed to duplicate the failure - you stated you aren’t driving it anyway. Good luck!
Intermittent master cylinder failures are pretty common.. It depends upon the pressure applied to the brake pedal - quick and hard pedal applications usually do not exhibit a falling brake pedal. However going down a long hill and lightly applying brakes for an extended period is usually when pedal fall occurs.. IF ‘these’ symptoms are presented - have the *master cylinder* replaced. Good luck!
