What is your question?
Initially with torrential rains..now with any wind driven rain. Initially thought caused by a small piece of deteriorating weather stripping on rear lift gate, but water is now infiltrating vehicle on both rear driver's side as well as passenger side. I don't want to trade it, but need an immediate fix!

ANY previous body work? Are you the original owner? Check with dealer for any known TSBS FOR THAT CONDITION AND THEN HOP IN BACK WITH A GOOD FLASHLIGHT AFTER INTERIOR TRIM IS REMOVED AND HAVE SOMEONE run a garden hose all over and watch with the light for entry points around body seams , seals etc. Good luck.
I googled this problem and found this is not unique to my vehicle. It's seems to be a problem with many SRX's and not just the 2005 model. I am the original owner, no accidents, no body work. The local dealership has sold and moved 40 miles away. I was hoping to communicate with someone through this website who has actually experienced this; therefore, moving straight to fixing it without experimenting with all sorts of approaches which I saw on the Cadillac Forum, etc. I have had excellent advice from repairpal.com in the past once with a daytime running light problem on the SRX and with two other vehicles...even told the shop at the dealership and helped them as well. Thank you for the information!
Keep checking back , there are several more here that have more domestic vehicle experience and also more 'inside' info on any available 'fixes' and known problems. I'm more on the Honda stuff. Generally haven't had those issues, good luck!
I've never heard of this specific problem either and am hoping someone out there can help! Thank you again!
