Possibly switch needs to be adjusted.. While a helper observes lights - shift to reverse then move shifter SLIGHTLY back and forth - - do the lights turn on or any indication of lights turning on? Return to transmission rebuilder for repair.

Thank you I will try that and if it doesn't work I will bring it back to amoco transmission shop because that repair costed $3500.00
