What is your question?
Car will lose power at take off. Sometimes it just goes dead while driving. The gas gauge is off by about a quarter gallon. It some times skips when it changes gears. When in idle it will shut off after about a minute. Will a senor reset work? Or is it an internal engine problem?
How long has your 2003 Cadillac Seville had this problem?
At lease a year

Hi, my name is Devin. I am an auto repair expert with the Car Genius team here at RepairPal. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Seville. The issues you're describing, including stalling, poor power, gear skipping, and an inaccurate gas gauge, may not be solved by a sensor reset alone. These symptoms suggest potential problems with the fuel system, throttle body, or transmission. A faulty mass airflow sensor, throttle position sensor, or fuel pump could cause power loss and stalling. The gear skipping could be related to the transmission control module or low transmission fluid. It's best to have the car diagnosed by a trusted repair shop. This will pinpoint if sensors, engine components, or the transmission contribute to the problems.
