Service engine light on Cadillac checked and could not find anything.

What are the trouble codes. If your check engine light came on then you have history codes.

Customer Concern: DTC P0741 Tests/Procedures: 1. Clear the code and test drive the vehicle to verify that the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) duty cycle is increasing to show that the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is trying to engage the TCC. 2. When TCC duty cycle is increasing, check the TCC slip RPM to see if it is coming down at all. 3. If the duty cycle is going up but slip RPM is not coming down, then there is an internal problem with the transmission. 4. Refer to bulletin 04-07-30-034 for the problem area. Potential Causes: Ground Power Transmission Mechanical Problem Wiring Diagnostic Codes: P0741 Unfortunately it is time to have the Trans rebuilt.
