my car will not start all the lights come on but the car will not start

If you are able to see the start tap on it with a screwdriver and hammer. If it starts after that then you most definitely need a starter. If you look down just to the right if the intake manifold you will see the starter. some may argue that you cant get to it but you most certainly can.
