Check Oil Level Message

What is your question?

Check Oil Level message appears constantly. I've drained the oil, replaced the sensor and added 7.5 quarts of new oil but the Check Oil Level message continues. Will disconnecting the battery cable and letting the computer systems reset resolve this problem?
