What is your question?
I'm looking to purchase a 2000 and the owner says that the car needs a Torque Sensor to control the idling and the switching of the gears. I was just wondering if there was a such thing of that part for the STS

I think that the seller of this car is confusing some terms. There is Torque Converter Clutch System that has Input Sensors and Actuators BUT Most of the repairs to this system and I have done several, are very time consuming and expensive. If theses repairs are involved with the Torque Converter Lock Up System, find another car, as they are time consuming and a sign that the Transmission is wearing out which is a BIG expense to repair.
