If you are feeling an engine misfire from your 2000 Cadillac Seville then the check engine light will most likely be on and the fault code set would indicate which cylinder is misfiring. It is not uncommon for ignition coils to fail on these vehicles causing engine misfires. If no misfire is present checking fuel pressure and exhaust back pressure would be a good place to start.
