I purchased an Expensive 1999 Cadillac STS w/touring pk...Only to find out that it's an Expensive Lemon... 1st at less than 50,000 miles the water pump went...then the trunk area where spare tire goes starting filling up with water this with still less than 50,000 miles on it... at almost 60,000 the head gasket went....at almost 90,000 the high pressure power steering hose started sprouting out fliud like a fountain..at same time power steering pump went...now at less than 100,000 miles the front passenger window regulator broke..and AC starting blowing out hot air... and suspension system developed major problems...I have to wonder WHY GM Cadillac didn't recall this piece of JUNK!! I can't be the only person experiencing these problems..I will NEVER buy another Cadillac for as long as I live.and if someone gave me one.. I'd sell it to the JUNK YARD!.. If GM Cadillac want people to BUY AMERICAN... They need to BUILD AMERICAN.. something STRONG .. like my ACURA was.. the Cadillac makers should be Arrested for the crime of stealing people's money .. for allowing us to buy such a Lemon and in my eyes not doing anything about the had to be known or at least made aware of these very expensive repair problems!! DID I MISS THE RECALL ON THIS VEHICLE... and I believe I read somewhere on Internet that a Class-Action law suit only applied to people in California... Why not all States.

like any car, things break. the fact you have a caddy makes it more expensive. maintenance is the key to avoid breakdowns. no vehicle will be 100% maintenance free as long as we build cars. Roy
I can absolutely relate to this. My 2000 Cadillac STS, nearly $7000+ in repairs since the warranty ended this car has less than 91000 miles now and was garage kept, required oxegen sensors repairs, ac blower issues, sun roof stopped working, fuel tank gauge broke, many more could be listed etc... I will second the "Never buy a Cadillac" reform.
I agree 100% with you and I'm going threw the same problems with my Cadillac. I'm looking online checking for a recall now but i can't find anything. You should contact Cadillac and let them check you vin # because I did see something online but my car wasn't one on the vins. But yes this is definitely the last Cadillac i will ever buy.
I could not agree with you more. I have the same A/C issues, power steering issues, water in the trunk and more.Cadillac really dropped the ball on this one. Ive spend a small fortune on this heap. I see why so many people switch to toyota. never again.
