we had this car checked out and oil the oils changed we are still smelling coolant.

There must be a leak somewhere. I hope that the smell is not coming from the tailpipe. Does the car use up coolant i.e. do you have to keep adding it? Have you had a cooling system pressure test, might be a good idea.
