my 1997 cadillac sls check engine came on about 3 days ago everything seemed fine then I went to start the car and all I heard was a click sound I waited 5 mins and it turned on no problem tried to start it the next day and its doing the samething. Whats the problem and about how much does it cost to get fixed?

Hi Jermaine. The first thing to do is to get that check engine light code. This will most likely give you a clue as to what is not operating correctly. Then go from there. Let me know if you need any more help. Good Luck!
Its a wire in your stering wheel ignition, related to the chip on your ignition security system, the cheap fix is to bi pass the feature. This is done at any good auto electric repair shop. Repair cost for mine in Phoenix, AZ was about $129 this fixes it.
