New thermostat new water pump not sure of my issue but temp just increases past 235 with fans running then I turn it off to prevent further damage because once it went up over 250 and I was forced to shut down the engine a lil bit of oil leak but not enough to even worry about any ideas

Hello, are your cooling fans operating? They should be running at high speed with temperatures that high. See if they turn on, also, when you turn your climate control system on. They should operate then also.
The fans are working but do not stop the temp from Rising maybe they're not working high speed is there like a sensor that changes the speed of the fans?
