I get a click sound when i try to start my 94 sls cannot find the starter

This happened all of a sudden. came to go to work and when i try to start the car everything comes on theres power but just a single click sound and it wont turn over. cannot locate the starter to see if can give it a wak please can someone advise thanks in advance :) Steve
