my 94 fleetwood 5.7 lt1 just died about 3wks ago the coil doesnt begin to fire

the coil doesnt begin to fire for at least 10 to 25 seconds and then it starts and runs just fine but it does this everytime i try to start it and the transmission shiftsinto 2nd hard and it don't seem to shift at all after thatand I lost function of my speedometer and odometer the only pcm codes are counter 00-24 which is tps sensor I replaced and counter 00-36 which is low resolution signal from distributor should I replace distributor and I also lost my dash lights when I turn on headlights is that the ccm any advice would be greatly appreciated I miss driving my caddy thanks
What makes this problem better or worse?
it doesnt matter evry time i try to start and it dont want to shift right allof sudden all fluids are good
