Key fob doesnt work

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Have you tried having the battery changed in the fob? Do you have a second fob to try? How is the battery of the vehicle - is it fully charged and able to sustain a load? This is a good place to check also. There really is no reason for the fob to be 'forgotten' by the vehicle processor - certainly there could be a fault in the unit, but check the battery in the fob and the 12 volt vehicle battery first.
