Headlight condensation build up . Dealer wants to replace it for $1250

I had the same issue on my '08 escalade and was able to reseal it after multiple attempts. 1. Removed the headlight (found instructions online). 2. Located leak with compressed air and soapy water. 3. Dried it out using hairdryer and/or compressed air. 3. Applied clear silicone and let dry. It has held up all winter. Good luck - I was nearly at the point of replacing the headlight assembly.

Check eBay for a used headlamp or on-line for a aftermarket lamp. List price from Cadillac is about $1,000 each.
