Why won’t my Escalade start when I try to start it? It just makes a clicking noi

When you have clicking instead of cranking, the most likely cause is not enough amperage being provided to crank over the starter motor. This can be due to a battery that is not charged fully with enough power, it can be caused by poor connections or corrosion on wiring and tables, and it can be possibly caused by the starter motor itself requiring too much power to crank the engine. My guess here is that the battery you have used at this time still is not strong enough and may need to be charged or is may be not proper for the vehicle.
