I bought the rig used. The window would roll itself down and the heat/AC was stuck blowing only thru defrost. The headlights/dash lights would pulse intermittently while driving and at the time they were doing that, my volt meter would fluctuate. The dealer replaced the BCM which solved most problems but the pulsing lights continued. I replaced the alternator w new...no difference. Had it bench tested for bad diodes...it is fine. My battery light comes on now and the volt meter shows no charge coming from the alternator. When hooked to a electrical diagnosis machine, the alternator also shows no charge while the engine is running @ 2500 rpm. At idle it will float back to charging at 14.1 volts then tank to zero again. That alternator was once again bench tested w/o issue. A new alternator was taken out of the box, bench tested and installed. Same results.I am driving it on battery power until I can resolve this. Another clue? When I first fire it up it reads normal. 10 /15 minutes down the road the volt meter indicates no charging activity, then it will charge for a minute or so, then no. I was driving down the road on battery power and I noticed that my heater controls didn't work properly. I couldnt get the AC off of defrost. Now the controls work fine. HELP!!!!
