compressor clutch will not release while ac is on, it does not cycle off

Thank you Roy! When the system has been running for more than a few hrs on long road trips it blows hot air. I turn it off for 30 min. or so then all is good again but for shorter time periods. I will have pressure checked and also change both pressure switches. I do appreciate your time.
