fan works ocansionally

What is your question?

I have a 2000 elderado fan motor comes on for a minute and stops it sometimes comes back on sometimes notthis is ether air condition or heat.To have a chance to get it started agaibn I have to turn car off for 5 minutes and the process starts over again.
