Car won't start

Car out of the blue will not start...I turn the key over and it turns but it just will not catch or even sputter like trying to catch it just keeps turning and prior to this it ran just fine but after I try starting it I can get out and look under the hood and there is a click click clicking sound coming from a part(black box with motor connected what I think is the throttle position sensor maybe ? )right beside my throttle wires like where ya can rev the engine pushing on them when car is started...plz help.. as can tell I don't know much about cars

One week it hasn't started but only tried cpl times
