Out of the blue, would not start.

What is your question?

Tried to start, i.e., ran for a few seconds, and then shut down. Trying to retstart, engine just keeps turning over. Mechanic replace cellinoid, and cranked. Now will not crank except for yesterday. Sat in Sun all day. Cranked right up. This morning, will not cold start. I do need to do 100,000 mile tune up/service.
