Okay this how you test it
Put the key to starting position
Do you have a volt meter? If have check for a resistant like 5 ohms when you press the brake pedal you suppose to have 12.o ohms on that module
Next one to to test if don't have volt meter?
If you put the key to starting position.
You suppose to hear a click sound from the module when press the brake pedal.
It means your shifter been unlock..
Let me know
i put the key in the starting position and press the brake pedal and i do not hear a click sound does that mean that i have to replace the shifter unlock module, what point on the module am i suppose to get the 5ohm and 12 ohm, do i have to remove the black panel to get to these module
I'm sorry
The module we talking about on your brake pedal
Is a module sending power when you press the brakes
It will send a signal power to your shift solenoid (it's suppose to click)that's mounted on your shifter
The orange plastic pin could be broken or stuck...
I would check on that first before we replace that module on your brake pedal
Yes removed all the parts whatever on its way
