My Temperature Gauge stopped working. The vehicle runs fine. What is needed?

Hello, Diagnostics are necessary to identify whey the gauge does not work. Typically, the engine coolant temperature sensor is the culprit, but the gauge can also fail. If you would like help diagnosing the sensor, let me know, but I do not advise swapping it out to test as you could end up wasting money.
